Graduated from University of Bale, Switzerland. She has worked at the University Hospital in Bale and Bern, Switzerland, the Hammersmith Hospital in London, and the University Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado, USA. She is a professor at the University of Bale and a visiting professor at the University of Lucerne. For many years, she headed the Department of Medicine at the central hospital in Lucerne, the Luzerner Kantonsspital, and is now the Medical Director of the Medical Center at the Waldhotel.
Her expertise in internal medicine and complex diseases is ideal preparation for her to be able to lead the medical check-ups and medical treatment of rehab patients.
Graduated from the University of Zurich. He was trained at the University Hospital Bern. He heads internal medicine and gastroenterology at LUNIS Hospital in Stans. Dr Knoblauch is a hands-on and highly skilled gastroenterologist. He performs endoscopies on our guests, such as gastroscopy and vaginal examinations, colonoscopy and liver biopsies, among other procedures in the safe environment of the hospital in Stans. He is a consultant at the Waldhotel.
After completing a doctorate at the University of Heidelberg, he trained as a surgeon with a focus on visceral surgery at German hospitals. He acquired special skills in laparoscopic abdominal surgery.
As Head of Surgery at the Cantonal Hospital Nidwalden he manages one of the largest obesity centers in Switzerland, which also includes the center hospital in Lucerne. Through additional studies, he has earned the title of "European Certified Obesity Specialist (SCOPE)".
At the Waldhotel he is a specialist in overweight therapy and carries out weight loss operations. He also controls and oversees all hernias, gallbladders, bowels and rectum surgeries.
Graduated from the University of Bale and trained at various Swiss hospitals, such as the University Hospital Bale and large hospitals such as the Kantonsspital Aarau and St. Gallen. In addition, she has a postgraduate Master’s degree in Public Health. Dr Meier is the head of the Department of Anaesthesiology and is also a skilled expert in emergency and intensive care and pain medicine at LUNIS Hospital in Stans. She is a consultant at the Waldhotel.
