Cardiology

Cardio-vascular diseases are a major problem in modern society. Myocardial infarction, degenerative changes of the valves and abnormal heart rhythms may be prevented or treated in their early stages, helping to avoid more adverse outcomes, up to and including sudden death. Anyone who already suffers from heart disease will benefit from the cardio check. It includes a consultation and specific examinations with the cardiologist. The most modern equipment is used for the analysis of cardiac function: echocardiogram, stress test on a bicycle or treadmill, spiroergometry, 24 hour ECG and blood pressure control, pacemaker implant (performed at our partner hospital) and control, as well as various blood tests.
